Elaine goes over and above for you. All the staff are professional and so friendly. They really make you feel like friends.
Food is out of this world. I’m coeliac but this was not an issue at all. I was so well looked after.
We have even been receiving calls from people telling us how amazing it was and what a wonderful night they had.

We stayed recently for a friends Wedding at Hotel Woodstock and we thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. We got such a lovely welcome when we arrived, I instantly felt at home, everyone of the staff members were happy and friendly and made you feel good. The bedroom was spotless, very comfortable and was well decorated. The Wedding was brilliant and the food was amazing, so tasty, hot and plenty of it, which is always great. We managed to get up for breakfast the following morning and I was delighted that we did, the breakfast room was lovely, again the staff were chirpy and courteous, asked us how our night was and were very friendly- but not in your face either. Food again was fabulous- I cleaned the plate!! Plenty of selection too. We will definitely be coming back, because I’m dying to get into the lovely pool, that I didn’t get a chance to try out.

I really cannot say enough about this hotel and their staff. My (now) husband and I took a trip to Ireland to elope on the Cliffs of Moher and we booked two nights at Hotel Woodstock for the night before and night of our wedding. The night before our wedding we had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel and then started to head to bed for our big day. The owner saw us heading to our rooms and asked why we were heading to bed so early and jokingly asked us why we didn’t want to crash an Irish wedding since there was a wedding there that night. We explained to her that we had our own Irish wedding the next day! She was so happy and excited for us and was unbelievably helpful. The owners and the rest of the staff ordered a bouquet for me since I didn’t have one. They made dinner reservations for us at a fabulous place near the Cliffs. They brought a stool to our room for my makeup artist. During the ceremony, they moved all of our luggage to the bridal suite and surprised us with champagne and desserts and rose petals. The pianist in the restaurant even played our song for us so we could have our first dance. They made us feel like VIPs! Everyone that worked there was incredibly helpful and just the nicest, happiest people you will ever meet. I can’t stop telling everyone here (in the USA) about how Hotel Woodstock made our wedding so memorable and just absolutely perfect. Sean and Elaine (the owners) obviously have a passion for their business. They made us feel like family and we were honoured to have our wedding night there. We will definitely plan to celebrate an anniversary there when we can return to Ireland!

The little touches like keeping the Kiddies Club open a little longer, to ensuring we were happy with our wedding dinner menu, to the beauty of the decor of the function room, to the tasty savory food cooked and served at the afters..words honestly cannot describe how truly amazing this hotel is. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it for any special occasion. Its fantastic in every way. We stayed at Hotel Woodstock for my sister’s wedding last weekend and I have to say the personal touches were amazing. Elaine and Sean greeted every person at the door warmly and their staff went above and beyond to make our day special. My sister the bride received top class treatment also. I had my children with me and they loved the space and freedom of the hotel. Also the pool was brilliant the following morning a great treat for us all to blow off the cobwebs!
I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be back some time as a family.

We had our wedding here first Saturday in September 17 and I have honestly never been treated so well. The hotel owners and staff are absolutely top class. They couldn’t do enough for us and our guests. We were all treated like royalty. The food was stunning, the venue is gorgeous. I cannot name a single fault. Rooms are huge and well looked after. Has everything there you could possibly need or want. We will absolutely be returning. A massive thank you to Elaine, Sean and all the staff.

My husband and myself attended a Wedding in Woodstock Hotel, Ennis on the 29thDecember 2016. Now being run by the new owners Sean & Elaine Lally. This was their first Wedding since they took over and what a fantastic job they did with it. From the moment we arrived Sean & Elaine were there to meet and greet the wedding party. On arrival guests had a choice of Champagne Hot Punch Lemonade for the kids, Tea & Coffee served with scones biscuits and a selection of finger food.
The hotel is very well presented and quite a lot of money was spent on the upgrading.
The Dining Room where we had the meal was beautifully laid out. The meal we had was fantastic and the service was so quick. The owners came around to each table to see everybody were looked after. Later that night everyone had chicken cocktail sausages and chips served with Tea & Coffee. It was a great day and night and we would highly recommend Woodstock Hotel for any occasion.

We recently celebrated our wedding at Hotel Woodstock and I can honestly say there would not be enough room on this page to write about how fantastic the whole experience was from beginning to end. Elaine Lally, her family and staff are exceptional in the hospitality field and specifically when it comes to weddings. Elaine and her team are perfectionist when it comes to costumer care, something that I believe can be forgotten this day and age. She is person centred and your day is her main focus. Value for money is incredible! Where do I start.. we had our wedding here last Saturday from the moment we met elaine and sean they couldn’t of been more helpful to us in every way possible and not forgetting there son Oisín he’s a great bar man the food was excellent and lots of it well done to the head chef john. I would definitely recommend this venue for a wedding or any occasion noel and I were met at the arrivals and greeted in by both Elaine and Sean and so were all our guests treated like royalty. My husband and I celebrated our wedding in Woodstock on New Year’s Eve. I can safely say that having our wedding here was the best decision we made. Not only have Elaine and Sean got years of experience in this industry between them, their love and pride of what they do shines through from the first minute you step foot in the hotel. From day one they couldn’t have been kinder, more approachable, professional or more helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble, dropping everything for a quick chat or phone call. The food was absolutely delicious and service was also exceptional. All of our guests raved about the food (including the service) on the day and for weeks to follow. Every staff member had a huge smile on their face from the start of the day until the small hours of the morning, they’re incredible. Another thing that has also stayed with me is the fact that most if not all of our guests knew both Elaine and Sean by name because of the very warm welcome that they gave to everyone. The staff in the hotel are also incredible, helpful, and approachable and you’re always met with a smile and a chat. From start to finish they made our day truly amazing and so enjoyable that I want to do it all over again. I know that this hotel is going to go from strength to strength and I wish Elaine and Sean good luck, happiness and health for many years in Woodstock. We were at our very close friend’s wedding yesterday (Sarah and Paul) and from the moment we entered the hotel and greeted by Sean and Elaine, everyone was treated like royalty. The meal was first class. We also stayed over, rooms very comfortable and spacious. We organised the surprise song at the meal and Elaine was most helpful. Keep up the great work, it really was a fantastic venue for a special day for such a beautiful couple. We look forward to returning sometime in the future.
