New Flight Routes in 2024
One of the unique features of Shannon Airport is the US pre-clearance facility for passengers traveling to the United States from Shannon. Passengers undergo all immigration, customs, and agriculture inspections before boarding their flight. Upon their arrival in the US, they are considered as domestic passengers.
One of the main reasons to visit Ireland at the moment is the exchange rate between the dollar and the euro is the best it has been for almost 20 years and offers excellent value for money and Hotel Woodstock and the Shannon region offers much better value than flying into Dublin the capital if you do fly into Dublin it is only a 2.5 hour drive to Ennis and it is all motorway on this route.

Shannon Airport offers an excellent access point into Ireland from the Us with flights from Aer Lingus to both Boston and JFK and a new daily flight starts by United Airlines from Chicago O Hare Airport to Shannon Airport.
Between May and October 2024, Delta will operate a daily seasonal flight between New York (JFK) and Shannon (SNN).
A lot of our guests also fly through London Heathrow Airport and then get a connecting flight to Shannon Airport with Aer Lingus which has a number of daily flights to Shannon Airport.
Getting here
Hotel Woodstock is located just 25 minutes from Shannon Airport and 4km from Ennis Town Centre. You can get here by bus from Shannon Airport directly to Ennis Town. A short taxi ride will bring you from the town centre to the hotel.
We are just over a 2.5 hour drive on a motorway from Dublin Airport. You can use public transport links to get from Dublin to Ennis by train or by bus.
